Fully booked over Christmas
Despite playing a central role in our culture, British pubs are finding it tough. There’s an increasing pressure to deliver a great product and experience in a fiercely competitive market.
Following a few years of slipping standards, The Queen’s Head was taken over and relaunched. The new owners wanted to get locals back in, get the word out about the restaurant as a destination dining spot, and drive bookings in the run-up to Christmas.
Understanding the issues they faced, we aimed to boost bookings and raise awareness of the relaunch. Therefore, we implemented a number of online and offline marketing strategies: Facebook advertising, inviting food bloggers, tweeting local businesses, events and email marketing. We also updated their marketing materials for a cohesive, modern look.
As a result of the work undertaken, The Queen's Head is back as the heart of the community; it was fully booked over Christmas and favourably reviewed in the top blogs and magazines in Leicestershire. After 3 months, we had grown the likes on The Queen's Head's Facebook page by more than 185%, achieving a consistently high level of engagement.
