TAPAS & PINCHOS
Standing on the Kent seafront, 81 Beach Street has been part of Deal’s tight knit community for nearly 13 years. With a laid back interior and a menu focusing on ‘fine dishes without the pretense’ we were bought in to boost sales by reaching out to new customers and a younger demographic.
We started by focusing on social media campaigns with Facebook advertising targeting based on users who live within 17km of Deal, describe themselves as ‘foodies’, regularly ‘eat out with family and friends’ and are mostly within the 18-35 age bracket. Within these campaigns we created digital artwork with a sleek, minimalist style with vectors that reflected the sea location and the stripped down design of the restaurant. We added user generated content competitions to coincide with new menu launches and a monthly newsletter targeting local record companies, art galleries and boutiques. We regularly used trending food buzzwords #localproduce #fishfriday #supportlocal. In only one month, sales increased by 26%, a considerate amount for this neighbourhood staple.
