Located in the centre of London and in the middle of Shaftesbury Avenue, Talli Joe had no problem encouraging dinner trade with their Indian sharing plates and long cocktail list. However, their dabba lunch deal was proving to be less successful, so we were brought in to raise awareness of lunch options and increase sales.
We began our work by cleansing the restaurant's original local business database. Contacting key decision makers in companies within a 2 mile radius of the site and explaining the ‘restaurant meal to go’ concept, lunch serving times and authentic tastes of the three tiered lunchbox. Going through 300 businesses a month to ensure that we took note of companies who are still interested in receiving newsletters, those who would visit the website in their own time and those no longer interested. Always editing and amending Mailchimp details, so campaign open rates stay accurate. We produced engaging newsletter content from animated gifs, brightly coloured infographics and one-time discount codes. Now, over 400 local businesses are interested in the restaurant’s lunch offer and want to stay up to date with future news.
