London has been called the most instagrammed capital city in the world and we at Captivate are hardly surprised. London has always been a melting pot of culture and art, with people coming from all over the globe. Perhaps that is what makes it such a great place to visit and its venues some of the most instagrammable in the world.

Here is Captivate’s collection of some of our favourite Instagram-worthy spots in London.

Brasserie of LightCentral London

It’s hard to miss just what it is that makes Brasserie of Light such a unique venue. From the moment you walk in the huge crystal-encrusted Pegasus, designed by the famous British artist, Damien Hirst, towers over you, catching the light like a disco ball. You’ll find this restaurant tucked away inside Selfridges near Bond Street tube. The food is affordable and plus, we hear the horse-pitality is unrivalled.

Ting, Shangri La Hotel, The Shard

What’s more instagrammable than a great view over the city? And where better to find one of those in London than at the top of the Shard? Ting is the Shard’s Asian-British fusion restaurant situated 35 floors above ground level and London Bridge station, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. So, pick a sunny, clear day and head there for out-of-this world views over the metropolis.

Sushi Samba, Covent Garden

I think it’s agreed that sushi is one of the most aesthetically pleasing foods on the planet. So the combination of jaw-dropping sushi and a restaurant choc-a-bloc full of plants makes Sushi Samba a particularly unique destination. Situated in Covent Garden it’s a must-see for anyone looking to impress on the gram.

Sky Garden, The City

Another of our favourite views in London can be found at the Sky Garden which is the city’s highest public garden, situated between Monument and Tower Hill stations. Here you can enjoy a continental breakfast at a bargain price. If you’re feeling a bit snazzier though, head upstairs to the Darwin Brasserie or Fenchurch Terrace. The perfect place for a special date.

The London Edition, Oxford Circus

At the Berner’s Tavern inside the London Edition you’ll find a jaw-dropping dining room like no other. The walls are drenched in art with so much to look, the ceilings are high like a palace and in the centre of the room hangs a beautiful chandelier. The food isn’t half bad either, think gorgeous pork belly and chocolate eclairs. You’ll feel like you’ve slipped into a Victorian wonderland.
