Although we’re still in summer and the weather is finally behaving like it’s July, at Captivate we’ve started planning Christmas restaurant marketing campaigns for our clients. December should be the most profitable time of year for restaurants, to maximise those profits it’s vital that you start marketing early. Depending on the client, their target markets and location we implement a number of strategies that can include:

Graphic Design

We design a range of marketing materials to promote Christmas such as the menus themselves as well as brochures (which can either be printed or email as a PDF), fliers and table talkers if necessary. Email Newsletters Ideally clients will agree to some kind of early bird offer – an incentive to book and pay the deposit for their Christmas office party early. We’ll write and design a series of newsletters to be sent to their database in the coming couple of months. Adwords Being a Google Partner agency means we’re experts in creating and managing Adword accounts to maximise targeted traffic. We’ll set up campaigns designed specifically to attract Christmas office parties. Social Media Christmas party menus and offers will be promoted with specific campaigns for Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Website We’ll add a Christmas page to their website which will include all relevant information – menus, capacities, booking terms etc. Telesales Although predominately a digital restaurant marketing agency, we find that sometimes there’s no substitute for picking up the phone – especially when targeting companies for Christmas office parties. We firstly create a database of target companies then call asking to speak to whoever deals with Christmas office parties. We’ll “sell-in” the restaurant, ask for an email address then send then menus, early bird offers etc. We then follow up a week later.
